My Current Book-Editing Project

Cover of Microchip

It took a while to get to this point, but I’ve been hired to edit this science-fiction-based novel, which is my very first book-editing project. I’m very excited about it.

As you can tell, this copy has already been thumbed quite a bit … that’s because the writer got stiffed on her first go-round with a printer, who was supposed to (and was paid to) produce a lot more galley proofs for pre-production use than he did, but that’s a story for another time and another forum.

This novel really is more of a thriller because it’s a very short leap from what’s happening in the world today to what happens in this book — a scarily short leap.

I met the author last fall and am just over halfway through the book now on my first read, and soon after I finish it I’ll be working on the Word files to hone it into a page-turning suspense thriller that you will not be able to put down. We hope to get it published before the end of this year. Stay tuned for more details!

  1. It’s an honor to have a qualified and skillful reviewer such as Chris Felker to edit the Microchip novel. He has exhibited true professionalism both in his editorial work and also in the way he conducts business.
This book has been a labor of love for me, six years of writing and an additional 7 months of permissions to use research and studies conducted by some of the world’s foremost experts on the subject matter. It promises to deliver quite a wallop. I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I enjoyed writing it.
