So the author and I met Monday evening, and she seemed happy

with my edits on the first eight chapters. We conferred on several things, had a meeting of the minds, and now I’m off on the next 12 chapters (after incorporating agreed-upon revisions).

This is an adventure in the making because with a couple of suggestions I’ve made, she’s asked for input, as in CREATIVE input.

The experience seems to be whetting the appetite for writing in me … but I’ll stick to editing for now!
